Registered Clinical Counsellor & Kundalini Yoga Teacher

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by to read a little about me.  I have lived in Victoria for most of my life, and while I may travel, I feel I'll always choose this place for my home.

I have a background in working with youth at risk, seniors, people with chronic illness and disabilities, and survivors of trauma and abuse.  All of this has taught me much about how our contextual cultural and socioeconomic systems can influence our lives, as well as about the incredible power of human strength and resilience.

In addition to counselling here at Heart of the Matter, I teach Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, and work at Victoria Hospice to provide counselling to palliative patients and their loved ones.  Since I was small, I have always been interested in understanding what makes us "tick," in alleviating suffering, finding meaning, and connecting with others.  This has made counselling a natural choice for my career.

Please get in touch with me if you would like to meet for a free 1/2 hour consultation, and see if it feels like we might be a good "fit" to work together.

Thank you!
